Team USA U16 & U19 Tryout Qualifier

The MLKings and MLKids will be hosting a tryout at Legacy Sports Park on January 6th and 7th, 2023. Our goal is to create an open opportunity to go PRO to those who want to be a professional paintballer! 

In the last three years we have brought on more rookies into the pro bracket than any other solidified pro team. We believe there is talent in Florida and the surrounding states that have the capability of playing pro, but never truly got the opportunity to do so. This tryout is your chance to show your ability and get recognized for your talents.

MLKids Tryout

With our goal of growing the sport we will continue to support a kids team. We are looking for players under the age of 19 that are passionate about the sport, show a level of professionalism, and have a desire to play pro one day soon! We will be hosting a NXL D3 team as well as one or two MVPS lines. As a young player this is your opportunity to get one-on-one guidance from pros, to be pushed as a player and as a professional. 

Team USA U16 & U19 Tryout Qualifier

To play for Team USA is a true honor! Only a select few young players get the invite to try out in Boston later this year to compete in France at the end of 2024 season. As a team USA player and a BKI professor Kyle Barry has a select amount of invites he can give out to attend the team USA tryouts. Every player under the age of 19 should be here to compete for the opportunity, regardless of your interest in the MLKings or MLKids. 

This annual tryout is a true test of your skills, your athleticism, and your mentality. We create clear identifiers of your skills and give you direct feedback on where you stand in your path to going pro. Here is what Kyle Barry has to say about the tryouts:

" I convinced Charlie Gives, the owner of the MLKings, to do these open tryouts after joining the team in 2020. My goal was to replicate the BKI Combine while giving an open opportunity for new players to enter the pro bracket. This means the system we have will give you clear identifiers of your skills and what you are missing to break into the pro bracket. I personally know the road is treacherous to pro and there are not many clear steps to take to get there. I hope this is the solution, a clear and open opportunity to get judged as a player. If we never created this tryout you would have never seen players like Conner Kelly and Carter Donaldson in the pro bracket."
